Lesser Canada geese are the primary species harvested with the occasional Snow goose, White-Fronted, and Ross goose. Traditional field hunts take place over corn, maize, and other grain fields. Our ability to hunt the fields the birds are using is why hunting is consistent even to the end of the season. Upon arriving the guides and party will set out a spread of full body decoys. We use layout blinds to keep the hunters hidden. Hunts will take place until noon or limits are reached. These hunts are limited so that the birds are not over pressured. This ensures good hunting all season long.
